Interesting. It does seem unlikely, especially if they were shooting arrows at one another. "Daddy, will you take us to the naval battle at the Colosseum?"

exactly... ...i posted another video awhile back that talked about some of the accidents that occured during coloseum exhibitions.... incidents where spectators were accidently killed by stray arrows or run away animals.... ... can you imagine a bunch of gladiators shooting arrows at each other from boats pitching and rocking on a body of water?.... it;s hard enough to make accurate shots when under pressure on dry ground... .... plenty of spectators would have been at risk.... o_O...😵‍💫...😵.. but oddly enough as much as some historians like to claim sea battles took place at the coloseum.. there were no incidents on record of spectators being injured as a result of sea battles...
