I'm trying to find out how to embed a video from a smartphone myself.

Well right now, from my laptop, I'm just copying and pasting YouTube links. If there's another way, I don't know it.

I am on my phone, so it opened in the YouTube application. Looks like you are doing the same, make sure you are copying the URL from the full YouTube site and not the mobile one. You will have to change the user agent in your browser to desktop.
 
It has been said that if you want to know how spiritual a person is, then get into their car and see what stations they have programmed on the radio and what cd's they have.  Then look at their movie collection and t.v. progamming choices.  Then look at their internet history.  At a Johnny Hunt meeting, it was said that 1 out of 4 men sitting on a church pew have a problem with pornography.  Think about that the next time you are sitting in church.  Where are all the real men and Christians that will stand up and say that I am not going to be conformed to this world.  I am going to flee fornication (including tv and internet), youthful lusts, and my music will be psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.  The reason we don't is because we aren't spiritual, nor care to be a lot of the time.  We don't care if we keep his commandments, though Jesus said if we love him, we will.  Jesus said that if a man even looks on a woman to lust after her, then in his heart he has already committed adultery.  I don't get all the churches and Christians today that think it is so cool listen to ungodly music, bring it into their church, and walk hand in hand with the Devil.  I know, the things I have listed are external things, but the problem is internal.  Where are the real Christians that will stand up and say enough?  Friendship with the world makes me an enemy of God?
