What a long way Schaap has gone down. He seemed like a real decent guy back in the 80s. I couldn't believe what a crack pot he started sounding like after taking over that church.
I don't think he will be charged. The trend over the last 10 years or so has been to lower the age of sexual consent, and it has been lowered to 16 in many states, so there probably is no violation of law.
I doubt he will have to work, though. I'd say he's probably got a tidy little sum squirreled away somewhere.
