Sunday School in Chicago

I enjoyed watching the Republican debate tonight on the Fox Business channel. The candidates, for the most part, seemed to bring their 'A' game. I liked the substance of this debate. To me, the back and forth exchanges were very revealing.

As a Bears fan, saying this is akin to an early 80's HACker spouting off at the college about something good that Billy Graham, Jerry Falwell, or John MacArthur said or did.

I watched the second half and the brief overtime of the Cardinals/Packers game last night and may have actually wanted the Packers to win. I feel bad for Baalam, IFB X-Files, and the other The Pack is Back fans.

I was around in the 70's and 80's. I remember all too well how bad it can actually be for a packers fan.

How would you like to be from St. Louis, Cleveland, Oakland or Detroit.

Those fans have had it real bad. Detroit for example has never played in a Superbowl.

Billy Sims.....Oh the Humanity!!!!!

Earnestly Contend

Looks as if it's going to be Carolina and the Broncos for Superbowl 50.

Unless, the Panthers collapse during the second half of their game with Arizona.

Fox is promoting the X-Files premier coming up after the NFC Championship game tonight.

IFB, will you be watching? Or, will you be making an appearance with Mulder and Scully?

I made a cameo appearance.

We're you the one that they shot dead as he was crawling from the wrecked saucer?

I think that some of you on here need to be reminded of this every so often.

We need the weekday shift to pick it up on the posting!

But you say, "Why, Brother Matthew1323? I just don't see the point!"

IT IS YOUR DUTY!!!

I needed another post.

In the mean time, I shall reflect on the many blessings that I received while catching up on my required outside reading of the HAC forum today.  :)

ODE TO RAIDER
I come to the forum alone,
While the ideas are fresh in my mind,
And the voice I hear, as I visit here
Is Raiders and it?s all too unkind.
For he pushes me, but it?s plain to see,
I must make his standards my own
Yet the posts we share as we journey there
Few outsiders have ever known.

He post, and the sound of His words,
Are so harsh, we all stop our singing
And title he, may soon give to me
Within my heart, I can feel the stinging.
For he pushes me, but it?s plain to see,
He needs to do some posting of his own.
Yet the ideas we share as we journey there
Few outsiders have ever known.

I'd stay on the forum till dawn,
Yet the post average around me be falling,
Fore he bid me stay, on the forum all day
Or the title of deadbeat is calling.
And he pushes me, and it?s plain to see,
I will never be one of his own,
Yet the joy we share as we tarry there,
Few outsiders have ever known.

Out-stinkin'-standing!

Without interrupting all the frivolity, celebrating of victory, and patting of oneselves on the back that occurs so naturally on the HAC forum, I wanted to make a simple request.

Keep it down!

Some of us third shift workers need to get some sleep!

Do you know how hard it is to get any sleep in the dorm room when a bunch of mama-bill-paid worthless deadbeats are screaming at the top of their lungs all afternoon and evening?

Thank you.

Try, try some Hylander pie
The bus, a Chevy's gettin' heavy so come on and let's ride
RAIDER's on board sittin' next to Miss Fly
She says "This will be the day that I die, this will be the day that I die."

I have enjoyed some of the back and forth wrangling recently in this years political contests.

Friday, Trump was asked to comment about what the Pope had said at the border about anyone who builds walls instead of bridges as not being Christian.  I couldn't help but laugh when he quickly replied to Anderson Cooper that the Vatican should take down it's wall then.

                                          "Eye Of The HACker"

Rising up, back on the street
Did my time, took my standards
Missed my goals, but I'll take no defeat
Just a man and his will to survive

So many times it happens too fast
You trade your family for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

It's the eye of the HACker
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our Preacher
                                      And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the HACker

Face to face, out in the heat
                                  Hanging tough, staying hungry
Sack lunch gone still we take to the street
For the kill with the skill to survive

It's the eye of the HACker
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our Preacher
                                      And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the HACker

Rising up, straight to the top
Made my goal, got the glory
Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop
A bus man and his will to survive

It's the eye of the HACker
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our Preacher
                                        And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the HACker

                                            The eye of the HACker
                                            The eye of the HACker
                                            The eye of the HACker
