Tim said:I just find it crazy that perhaps Jesus would hand a Bud Lite to a friend and smile.

Me too. The only thing worse than American beer is American light beer.
Jesus, being omniscient, would know this.

Tim said:The drunkenness of Noah is recorded in the Bible, with that fairness which is found only in the Scripture, as a case and proof of human weakness and imperfection, even though he may have been surprised into the sin; and to show that the best of men cannot stand upright, unless they depend upon Divine grace, and are upheld thereby. Luther and Calvin would disagree with Clarke...... And MH is not talking about abstinence here,..

How much can he drink before he sins?
(The Bible seems to be clear that getting drunk is a sin.)
So maybe better phrased - "Is it possible to know (having never drank alcohol before) when you have had enough to drink that you haven't yet sinned but to take another drink would be sin?"
Is it possible for someone to get drunk after 1 drink?

It isn't American beer that's awful, it's American mass-market beer.
Some American craft brewed beers are as good as any in the world.
For something about as opposite to Bud Lite as you can get, there's Arrogant Bastard Ale by Stone Brewing in CA. But as it says on the label, it's not for everyone. "Go back to your fizzy yellow beer. You are not worthy." Personally, it's one of my favorites, but I don't buy it all the time because it's a little expensive.
