I had a couple of conversation with people back in 2011 who mentioned what EL was saying privately about JS.  There is a lot more to the story than I want to share on a public forum.

I can not imagine it either. This belief is based on having family and friends still in FBC, plus what BG has said on this forum.  Also I know for a fact that EL knew Jack was off his rocker 1 year before Jack got caught and did nothing about it.

They have needed an outsider to come in and revamp the whole PA system for a while now.  They spent a ton of money when they built the new auditorium on the PA and still did not get it right.

So many layers of partial truths (lies) at HAC. So who at HAC actual earned doctorates? Dr. Evans Dr. Cowling ? Also it looks like President Reagan knew what to do with the trouble makers on the right - stick them in a bureaucratic position and never hear from them again!  ;)

They advertised as a Christian college.  What part of Christianity do they get to ignore in your book and still be telling the truth? So am I to assume by you its okay if they covered up sin (as long as you didn't know, things were good!).  A student should just know when he goes into a place...

The point was about being affected by the bad of the place not about graduating.  My opinion is that if a person had a good foundation, they would be naturally less affected.  I am not okay with the buyer beware aspect of HAC that you seem to be fine with.  I don't find that to be a Christ...

I had Bro. Meister as my 5th grade Sunday School teacher.  I enjoyed his class and have good memories of him.  It is humorous see how you guys saw him in a different light. Dave's shenanigans and JH's response to them drove off a lot of good people.

I missed that.  :) Away from Hammond and his dad's protection, DH must have stuck with the 18 and older crowd.  TX seems like a place that Dads and brothers would inflict bodily harm and they would have guns.  :o To bad Joy did not have a dad like that.
