Trickle Down Does Still Work

And who do you sell to? PEOPLE WITH MONEY. How is this "rocking' sales helping those who can't afford your goods?

People who purchase my machines make their money back in 2 to 3 jobs.

I am in a part of the construction industry where the skills are low and the profits are high.

Yes. I have people struggle to purchase even our beginning set-up ($5,500). I have a couple of people who cannot afford to purchase right now. But, that is FAR fewer than just a couple of years ago!!!

Like communism, capitalism kills.

So much for the "pro-life" party's belief. Trickle down "works" to get stuff, but will it help the poor obtain life-saving medicine?

How Insulin Became Unaffordable

When Smith went to the pharmacy to pick up his insulin in early June, the bill was over $1300 without insurance. He couldn?t afford the medicine that day, and decided to ration his remaining insulin until he was paid. Smith did not tell his family that he was adjusting his carbohydrate intake so he could lower his dosage.

?He knew the signs of being in trouble with his diabetes,? Smith-Holt told the HPR. ?But when your body starts shutting down like that, you?re not making very clear, rational decisions.?

On June 25, Smith went to dinner with his girlfriend, where he complained about stomach pains. It was the last time anyone saw him alive. He called in sick to work the next day. On June 27, Smith was found dead in his apartment.

There are no generic insulins. Over the past twenty years, prices for the most commonly prescribed ?analog? insulins have risen from about $20 per vial to well over $250 per 10 mL vial, an over 700% increase after accounting for inflation. In contrast, insulin today costs roughly five dollars per vial to produce. With deductibles far outpacing wages, insulin has become unaffordable even for well-off Americans.

Total free-market capitalism says the life of the rich man who can afford to pay $250 per vial for a life-saving medicine that costs $5 to make, is more valuable to society than the man who cannot afford to pay for it. (FYI, ACA failed to cover this as well so they are to blame too.)

Your understanding  of economics and capitalism rival your understanding of Scripture.

Meanwhile, the flotillas still head toward capitalism.... ;)

2/8/2018 CVS
CVS Health announced on Thursday that it would raise its starting wage for employees to $11 per hour in April.
The drugstore and pharmacy benefit manager credits the raise, which amounts to an extra $2 per hour, according to CNBC, to $1.2 billion in savings from the recent tax cuts. The new base pay would be a significant premium above the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour.

In addition to raising the starting hourly wage, CVS said it would also adjust compensation for other retail positions including pharmacy technicians. Additionally, the company said it would implement a new policy that would give full-time employees four weeks of paid parental leave starting in April.

Exactly. They will inherit the kingdom of God whereas it is difficult for a rich man (Trump and other Republican politicians) to do the same. ;)

Start with your computer. Give it to the poor!

Somehow I don't get the feeling my company will allow me to do that with their property. ;)

All you have to do is read the many great posts above to realize that EVERYONE is benefitting from these cuts.

Really? How are the poor (elderly, unemployed, disabled, etc.) being given possessions sold by those who have received the tax cut bonuses?

In other words, the Republican tax cut has nothing to do with the teaching of Jesus you posted.

Even so, it is reported only 13 percent of business tax-cut savings to go to actual workers.

Liquidate YOUR assets. Just like Pelosi and other socialist liberal democrats have done.....oh, wait....

Give them YOUR possessions Elmer.
Lead the way, set the example put YOUR money where your mouth is...
And, check the direction of the flotillas.  ;)
